Hello Flawsome Beauties! I recently received few products as apart of my continuing education at Ulta Beauty where I work as a Prestige Beauty Advisor on the weekends. I graciously received products from Derma Blend, Boscia, and First Aid Beauty.
I have used the First Aid Beauty repair lotion in the past for my eczema and let me tell you, it really helps with the itching, it won’t clear it up from what I have tested but it will at least relieve that itch and irritation that I get from my flare ups. I have not tried the Facial Radiance Pads yet, I am waiting for an acne flare up to clear up before I do.
I have not tried the Boscia Charcoal Jelly Ball yet either so stay tuned for reviews on those two.
I received two products from Derma Blend, one if the Jelly Primer and the second is the Banana setting powder. I have tried the primer previously and I enjoyed the results, When you pump it out it feel sticky when first applied but it is not stick to the point that when you touch your face you get that sticky feeling on your finger tips and face, I love the way my foundation applies to the primer, the only issue i have is that it does NOTHING for my pores, BUT it does help my makeup stay all day. As for the setting powder, I was really excited to try the powder and see if it really lasted 16 hours. The powder comes with its own applicator sponge and the directions say to apply then leave for two minutes and wipe the excess off. Unfortunately on me the powder did not last 5 minutes mostly on my nose area, which is ALWAYS an issue but with this powder it didn’t last till I got to work. I used the Teint Idol foundation from Lancome which is AMAZING so I knew that wasn’t the issue, I will try the powder again with a different foundation, primer combination and see if that changes the out come.
