These are the items I use on a daily basis, I will do a full inventory and review of EVERYTHING I have in the next few days and get that up ASAP, but for now enjoy my daily favorites and leave me a comment below if theres something YOU would like reviewed or think I should try!!
First thing I do EVERYDAY is of course wash my face! and to do this I use my Lush coal face to scrub away impurities and wake my skin up. When you go into Lush to get this product or order it online don’t be scared of the packaging, it looks like coldcuts complete with a weight and price sticker. The reason is because these are fresh cosmetics and cut from larger “blocks” of coal, I cut mine up into smaller pieces and the block I by can last me a few months depending on how small the pieces I cut are and the size of the block I buy. the pricing can range from 9.99-45.00 depending on size and weight. Exiting the shower I dry my face and use my Perricone MD Cold Plasma cream, this cream is AMAZING, I received a free sample from Influenster to try for 7 days, well after day 1 I was hooked, and after the 7 day trial I saw a major difference. The price for this is 150.00 for 1 OZ, I know its steep, but its worth it. It made my skin so soft, and defiantly helped with the small smile lines I have around my mouth as well as my large pores. You can order this from Sephora or purchase in store.
When I have completed these steps, I am ready for my make up, well sort of, I ALWAYS moisturize first, my go to moisturizer is my Neutrogena combination skin moisturizer. I have been using this product forever and its stuck by me through thick and thin, the price on this is $11.99 and you can find this at any drugstore and also at Ulta. They have plenty of options for every skin type.
Once that step is complete, its time for the fun stuff, well kind of, I always spray with a prep spray and my go to is the Urban Decay B6 vitamin infused complexion spray. Ive been using this for a year now and it jut always makes my skin feel ready for the day and helps wake it up while nourishing it wit vitamins to make it able to withstand make up and make it through the day. The price is $32.00 and you can get this online at Ulta, Sephora, and of course Urban Decay.
Alright now for the primer, so I do my primer in two steps, primer and pore minimizer. For primer I love my Urban Decay self adjusting complexion primer. This primer not only helps reduce pores but it color corrects as well. The price for this primer is $34.00, but it well worth it. You can get this online at Ulta. After regular primer since I am weird about the pores around my nose area so I incorporate a pore minimizer as well, and my go to is the Benefit Cosmetics POREfessional, this product is THE BOMB!!!! It makes my pores disappear for the entire day! The price on this is $31.00 for a 0.75 oz tube, now I know thats kind of crazy and don’t worry I have a less expensive just as awesome alternative, the Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser, this one retails for $6.99 for a 0.67 oz tube, I do own both of these and it just depends on how pore less I want to be, the POREfessionsal does work a little bit better than the Maybelline, if you’ve never tried the POREfessional, I recommend trying it at least once, and you can get samples or a smaller tube for only $12.00, but BELIEVE me when I tell you the Maybelline is just as good. You can find both of these at Ulta, the Maybelline at any drugstore and the POREfessional at any Sephora if you don’t have an ulta near you and of course online!
Alright, we’re primed and ready to get going with the good stuff! so the foundation I use is the Milani conceal + perfect foundation/concealer combination. I use shade 03 Light Beige and I’ll tell you that this is BY FAR the best full coverage foundation I have used especially from the drugstore, I use this one everyday, plus its only $10.00 1OZ jar, and the jar is a pump which we all know how amazing that is! Milani also offers a pretty good shade range. You can find this at most drugstores and Ulta, the only store I have not seen this in is Target.
No, I do NOT skip concealer because I use this foundation, be got bags that need covering, I use the holy grail of concealer and that is the Tarte shape Tape, this is like tears from angels and songs from fairies its so good, it not only covers my under eye dark circles but it DOESNT crease, like ever!! which we all know is important. The retail price is $27.00 and comes in a variety of shade ranges, I recommend going to test it to make sure you select the right color. The wand is also pretty amazing its a big fat wants that gets the entire under eye area but not too big where it wont get into your inner corners. Plus you can use this to contour and highlight. Shape Tape is only available through Tarte and Ulta, it is rare to see this on sale but its so worth the full price, if you sign up for Tarte’s mailing list they will let you know if/when it does go on promotion.
So now were on to setting this all! I swear by my Coty Airspun Powder, now this is available at all drugstores and online at Amazon, it retails for $5.97 on Amazon -$7.99 at Walgreens, I don’t know about you but Ill go with Amazon here. The size of the powder is 2.3 OZ AAAANNDD it comes in 5, yes 5 color options, I personally use the translucent but it is available in Naturally Neutral, Rosey Beige, Suntan, Honey Beige, and of course Translucent. I use this to set and bake my face and its perfect! Better than some of the higher end in my opinion. It is usually sold out in most stores so ordering it online is probably your best bet pus its less expensive!
This is where I contour and hi light, now I know that some people do this before setting powder, but I personally don’t like to do it this way, I find that with creme it takes some of the foundation off and with powder it’s like powder that dulls the other powder, You know what I mean?, okay then, so I use two products most of the time, depending on how deep I want my contour, I use the NYX Wonder Stick, I love this, especially for beginner, all you do is literally draw the lines for where you want to contour and hi light and I use my Beauty-blender .The Wonder Stick is available in 6 color combinations as wells there is something for everyone. To blend I wet my beauty blender before any application it makes the products go on much smoother, and also minimizes the amount of wasted product that can be picked up by a dry blender. I use the blender to buff in the areas once that is completed if I want a more defined contour/highlight, I use my Urban Decay Shape Shape Shifter,this is AMAZING! it comes with both powder AND cream contour, highlight, bronzer and what can be used as a cheek highlighter. This retails for $45.00, on Urban Decay, Ulta, and Sephora. I use the powder side more than the cream because I use the cream Wonder Stick, the cream side DOES have color correcting as well. They come in two shade ranges, light/medium and medium dark, I personally use light/medium.
Now that were all contoured and highlighted and snatched, we need to bronze our high points! I got the bronzer I use in n Ipsy bag a few months ago and Ive loved it every since, now no judgement until you use this,but the bronzer I am talking about is Glamour Dolls Lisa Frank Bronzer, at the moment it is sold out, I have reached out the the manufacturer to find out when it will be back in stock, the retail price is $5.99. I will keep tons of you interested on re-stock information.
Now its time for eyeshadow primer, I use the E.L.F. eyeshadow primer, on a daily basis,it comes in two colors, pearl and nude and is $1.99! YES $1.99!!! Now I also use the Urban Decay anti-aging eyeshadow potion,this retails for $24.00, so I tend to use my ELF daily.
Now for my FAVORITE!! eyeshadow! I am OBSESSED with eyeshadow, I have so many palettes but you can never have enough. So I ALWAYS start with a base on top of my eyeshadow primer, for this I use a color as close to my eye skin as possible, Next I fill in my crease, usually with warm skin tones and work to what color I am using on my eyes, which depends on my outfit. Most of the palettes I own are from Colour Pop, they have great products and amazing prices! some of my favorites are pictured below. I also use my Jaclyn Hill Palette this is usually where I get my crease colors from. I also love my Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Palette, this palette is beautiful!!! I will place a photo below, it retails for $65.00 which is a bit steep, BUT the quality of these shadows is fitting for the price as is the pan size. I recently purchased the new NYX Love You So Mochi palettes and they are super pigmented and retail for $20.00 for 10 pans of colors. I have added pictures of most of my everyday palettes below, the NYX are the two to the left, followed by the color pop/Kathleen Lights collaboration, the Jaclyn Hill/Morphie Palette, and the last 4 are Colour Pop, and last but not least the Huda Palette.
For the finishing eye touches I add Mascara, and for Mascara I use my Essence lash princess,this is the greatest mascara ever and its only $4.99!! its better than so many of the higher end mascaras out there as well. As for eyeliner I use my Urban Decay 24 hour waterline liner in black,I usually always wear black liner, but I also have the same liner in purple and rust. For brows I love the simple Maybelline pencil in dark brown.
So now we’ve got our eyes done and one final touch is highlighter! my second favorite, it brings out the cheek bones and makes you look fabulous. I have tried a few highlighters and I have to say Wet and Wildis the best, followed by the new Maybelline master chrome highlighter, these are newer and I love them! Hard Candy also makes a great rose gold highlighter.
Last is lips! my go to lately has been from colour pop and the Kathleen Lights collaboration. I have the area team bundle which comes with three colors, one is a dish coral, one is a nude, and the third is a nude pink. Here is the link: Color Pop/Kathleen Lights.
So one last step! setting spray!!!!! I use the Urban Decay all nighter setting spray, this retails for 40.00 and its one of the best on the market, I use this daily and I don’t touch up through out the day, unless I want to look fresher.
